Mushaf

Mushaf is a free and user-friendly application designed for reading the Quran, offering an array of unique features that cater to reading, listening, memorizing for children, and providing interpretations. This electronic Quran is a comprehensive tool that enhances your spiritual journey with ease and convenience.

The app includes a built-in paper Mushaf and Tafsir, allowing you to access these resources without an internet connection. It boasts an advanced index system that organizes the Quran into parts and Suras, with search functionality available in both indexes for quick navigation.

Mushaf provides multiple versions of the Quran, including the Mushaf Al-Madina, Mushaf Al-Tajweed (colored according to Tajweed rules), and Mushaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei'). The app offers gapless audio playback, featuring recitations by many renowned reciters, including Rewayat Hafs, Warsh, and Qaloon.

Users can search through the entire Quran text or focus on a specific Sura. The app also allows you to share Quran text or images with others. For deeper understanding, Mushaf includes Arabic Tafsir (Commentary) from esteemed sources such as Al-Saa'di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet, alongside text translations of the Quran's meanings in English and French.

Further enhancing your learning experience, Mushaf offers E'rab (Grammar) of the Quran by Qasim Da'aas, and a split-screen feature to view the Quran and Tafsir simultaneously. Navigation is made easy with page switching using swipes or volume buttons, and you can save your place with a simple swipe of the bookmark handle.

Additional features include the ability to keep the screen always on while reading, a night mode for comfortable viewing in low light, and the option to convert the Quran text with adjustable font sizes. The app also syncs recitation with the Aya's position on the page, highlighting the text as it is recited, and offers the ability to repeat verses for better memorization.

Mushaf ensures uninterrupted listening with audio playback that continues even when the app is closed, and includes an audio controller accessible from the notification bar.

App Permissions

To enhance your experience, the app requires internet access to download necessary content such as recitations, translations, and Quran page images. Additionally, it needs access to file storage to save these downloaded items for offline use.
