Widely loved across India, Mindi—also known as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, or Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the Tens")—is a classic game of intelligence and fun. How to Play Mindi: The Objective

The main goal in Mindi is simple: win tricks that contain Tens. The partnership that captures three or four of the Tens wins the hand. If a team manages to collect all four Tens, it's called a Mendicot—a true triumph!

Game Setup

Mindi is designed for four players, who form two teams by sitting opposite each other. A standard 52-card deck is used. The player who draws the highest card becomes the first dealer. After shuffling, the dealer distributes 13 cards to each player, one by one, around the table.

Two Exciting Game Modes

Choose your preferred style and dive into endless fun with two unique modes:

• Hide Mode: The player to the dealer’s right selects a card and places it face down on the table. This card determines the trump suit for the round.
• Cut Mode: No trump is declared at the start. When a player cannot follow the led suit, the suit they play becomes the trump for that hand.

Trick-Taking Rules

Once a trump suit is established, the highest trump card played wins the trick. If no trump is played, the highest card of the suit led takes the trick. The winner of each trick leads the first card in the next round. All captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile by the winning team.
