How to Summon a Jester
To summon a jester, you'll need to follow these steps carefully:- Prepare the Space: Clear a space in your room or any quiet area of your home. Make sure it's free from distractions.
- Gather Materials: You'll need a candle, a mirror, and an old coin. Place these items in the center of your cleared space.
- Chant the Summoning Phrase: Light the candle and sit in front of the mirror. Hold the coin in your hand and repeat the phrase, "Jester of mirth, come forth and bring your laughter to earth," three times.
- Wait for the Sign: If the jester accepts your summons, the candle flame will flicker, and you might see a fleeting reflection in the mirror.
How to Send the Jester Back
If the jester appears and you need to send him back, follow these steps:- Find a Safe Hiding Spot: Hide in a place where the jester can't easily find you. This buys you time to plan your next move.
- Gather the Dismissal Items: You'll need the same candle and coin used in the summoning, plus a piece of chalk.
- Draw the Dismissal Circle: Use the chalk to draw a circle on the floor or ground where you feel safe. Place the candle and coin inside the circle.
- Chant the Dismissal Phrase: Light the candle and, while standing outside the circle, chant, "Jester of mirth, your time here is done, return to your realm and let us have fun," three times.
- Watch for the Departure: If the ritual is successful, the candle will extinguish itself, signaling that the jester has returned to his realm.
