**Using the App and Same Sensor Scanner**

It's important to note that signals from the FreeStyle Libre 2 system can be directed either to the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or to your smartphone, but not to both simultaneously. To receive signals on your phone, you must initiate the sensor through the FreeStyle LibreLink app. Conversely, to use the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, you need to activate the sensor with the scanner itself. If you start the sensor using the scanner, you can still scan it with your phone later. However, the app and scanner do not communicate with each other. For comprehensive data, ensure you scan the sensor with your chosen device at least every 8 hours; otherwise, your reports may lack complete information.
