You are General Zhang Liang, a warlord of unmatched cunning from the Eastern Wu faction, summoned to the Imperial Mahjong Arena — a mythical battleground where the greatest generals of the Three Kingdoms test their minds and destinies through the sacred game of Mahjong.

No longer just a game of luck — this is battlefield strategy, psychological warfare, and destiny itself, forged in 16 tiles.

🎯 Core Gameplay (Taiwanese 16-Tile Mahjong – Simplified, but Deep)

• 16-Tile Hand: You build your hand from a 136-tile deck (traditional Chinese suited tiles: Bamboo, Circles, Characters, plus Winds, Dragons, and Bonus Tiles).
• Winning Hand: Just 5 sets + 1 pair — no need for complex honors or special hands.
  • Sets:
    • Chow (1-2-3, 4-5-6, etc. in same suit)
    • Pong (three identical tiles)
    • Kong (four identical tiles — can be declared mid-game!)
• Bonus Tiles:
  • Flowers (4): Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter — collect all four for a Great Fortune Bonus (score multiplier + story unlock).
  • Seasons (4): Each corresponds to a legendary battle — complete all four to unlock the Ultimate Campaign Mode.

Progress through 12 legendary battles, each a chapter in the war for the Jade Throne:

1. Battle of Chibi (Red Cliff) – Outmaneuver Cao Cao’s fleet using wind patterns and timing.
2. The Siege of Hanzhong – Survive enemy concealed ditches and ambushes.
3. The Duel of the Twin Generals – Face off against a mirror opponent with identical strategy.
4. The Ghost Hand of Zhuge Liang – Play against a spirit who only uses Flower and Season tiles.

Each battle alters your Fate Stat (Courage, Intellect, Guile, Fortune), shaping your available strategies and unlocking new Tactical Cards (e.g., “Feigned Weakness”, “Storm of Discards”).
