Simulation of the Golf Card Game
This is a simulation of the Golf game, played with a standard 52-card deck plus two Jokers. Each player is dealt six cards face down. The remaining cards form a face-down stock pile, with the top card turned over to start a discard pile beside it.
The objective is for players to lower the total value of the six cards in their layout. They do this by swapping cards for ones of lower value or by pairing cards of equal rank in columns. The player with the lowest score wins the game, while the highest score loses. A total of nine rounds are played.
Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns drawing a single card from either the stock or discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped for one of the player's six cards or discarded. If swapped for a face-down card, the new card is placed face up. If the drawn card is discarded, the turn passes. A round ends when all of a player's cards are face-up.
The game consists of nine "holes" (rounds). The player with the lowest cumulative score is declared the winner.
