Game Introduction

21 Solitaire is a unique card game that blends the strategic depth of Blackjack with the straightforward mechanics of classic solitaire. The goal is simple yet addictive: score as many points as possible before you run out of valid moves. Each round challenges you to make smart decisions about where to place your cards, combining both luck and skill into every session.

This version of the game features an active Worldwide High Score table, allowing you to compete against players from around the globe. Submit your score and see how you rank among other fans of this timeless gameplay style. Whether you're aiming for the top or just playing for fun, the challenge remains fresh with every shuffle.

The original concept dates back more than 20 years, though it's become increasingly rare in today’s gaming landscape. This version preserves the core mechanics while enhancing the experience with updated visuals and smooth interaction design. All scoring rules and gameplay elements are based on my own interpretation, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable playthrough every time.

Objective

Your main goal in 21 Solitaire is to accumulate the highest possible score by placing cards strategically into columns. The game ends when no further moves can be made, so plan carefully to maximize your point total before that happens.

How to Play

  • Moving Cards: Tap on a column to place the current card from the draw stack into that column.
  • Column Clearing: When the total value of a column reaches exactly 21, the column clears and you earn points.
  • Pass Option: If no valid move is available, you may pass the current card up to [ttpp] times per deck.
  • New Deck: Once all cards in the current deck have been played, tap “New” to start a fresh deck and continue building your score.

Scoring System

Each card contributes its face value to your score. Face cards (J, Q, K) count as 10 points, while Aces can be counted as either 1 or 11—just like in Blackjack. Additional bonus points are awarded for achieving special combinations such as:

  • Blackjack: A two-card total of 21 using an Ace and any 10-point card.
  • 5 Card Charlie: Reaching 21 or less using exactly five cards—an impressive feat requiring both luck and strategy.

With intuitive controls and deep gameplay mechanics, 21 Solitaire offers endless replayability. Challenge yourself to beat your personal best or climb the global leaderboard—either way, you’re in for a rewarding and engaging card experience!
