Our second Sloword application is now ready for use. You can access Scanword directly from the first screen by clicking on the image or navigate to it through the Settings - Other Applications section. Give this modern twist on traditional crosswords a try.

Scanwords in Russian represent a unique phenomenon worldwide. No other language features such a rich tapestry of literary questions, humorous queries, and contextually relevant content within their crosswords. It might seem trivial, but these elements highlight the Russian people's profound respect and love for the word. They cherish it, uphold it, and consider it a treasure.

Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords - from simpler to more complex, including those with photographs and classic or associative questions like "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" one, the reason for which will become clear once you try it. Every page features a character from our cheerful family, inviting you to join us.

All scanwords are free for the reader. This is an annual collection comprising 52-53 issues, each with 20 scanwords. The complete annual set will occupy about 50 MB on your phone - the images are small, and the text is straightforward. We understand the importance of conserving space on your device.

You don't need an internet connection to solve the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded on your phone. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you've enabled notifications, you'll receive a reminder every Friday at 12:00 local time. Upon opening the app, the new issue downloads automatically and, once completed successfully, won't repeat. Additionally, you can download or delete individual magazines to your phone or use the "Settings" option to download all magazines at once.

The core features of the app, including access to all scanwords, are free for users. Advertisers fund this by placing one narrow banner on each page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers ensure that the solving experience remains uninterrupted. Moreover, they reward users with free hints for watching their videos.

Users have the option, but not the obligation, to manage their interaction with ads by: a) permanently disabling ads, b) subscribing to turn off ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription period, or c) collecting hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop."

Privacy Policy:

1. We exclusively use the standard Android advertising identifier for advertising placement and performance analysis. This identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers like SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
